About the artist.

1995

Practicing Artist since 2012

Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art Majoring in Painting, studied at Griffith University QCA (Queensland College of Art)

A Sunshine Coast Local who is passionate about art and expression.

“Art and emotion are intrinsically connected, the manifestation of a thought and the inception of a painting will commonly stem from an event or an emotion that triggers a need to express.”

My works portray the process of creation by breaking down the steps taken to produce a painting. Starting from the finished product my pieces work backward, often deconstructing the original work until it is a naive representation of the emotion behind the original painting. I create works of art from the everyday using bursts of colour and generous application of paint.

Constantly exploring styles and mediums, my goal is to always leave my audience with a sense of the work without having to overly explain it.
